Lake Jovita has two championship “must play” courses located only 30 minutes from downtown Tampa off I-75. Bringing Carolina-style charm to the heart of Florida, Lake Jovita’s dramatic elevation changes, freshwater lakes and uniquely hilly terrain creates a striking contrast to the typical Florida flatlands. The South Course, co-designed by award-winning course architect Kurt Sandness and PGA Tour great Tom Lehman, with its 7,153-yard layout provides players of all levels with an enjoyable and challenging day of golf. Signature hole #11 features a 94-foot drop from tee to green, the largest natural elevation change on any course in the state. The North Course has a more contemporary feel with even more dramatic elevation changes. Two sets of tees specifi cally designed for women provide fun and fair play at all levels. A 15-acre practice facility, pro shop, clubhouse with full-service dining, tennis courts, fi tness center and swimming pool are among the amenities offered with club membership.
